For the fourth time this season, Western Illinois senior Zane Teilane was named women's basketball player of the week in the Mid-Continent Conference. In two victories, Teilane averaged 16.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 5.0 blocks and 3.0 assists as the Westerwinds clinched their fourth consecutive Mid-Con regular-season title. In Monday's victory over Chicago State, Teilane posted her conference-leading 14th double-double of the season.
