At Cedar City, sophomore Anne Westwood recorded her third double-double of the season with game-highs of 19 points and 14 rebounds to headline Southern Utah's 63-53 win over conference foe Centenary on Saturday night. The win was the first for the Thunderbirds in conference and improves their record to 4-11 and 1-1 in the Mid-Con. The Ladies fall to 4-13 and 0-3 in the conference with the loss.
"We fought hard tonight and did the things we had to do to win," SUU coach Steve Hodson said. "We were better on the offensive boards and it created opportunities for us to win the game."
