What's to like: The Crusaders win the United Nations award. They have five players from four foreign countries. Moussa Mbaye, Senegal, is the team's lone senior. Coach Homer Drew, entering his 18th season, needs 14 victories to reach 300 at Valpo.
What's not to like: Valpo lost seven players who supplied 81 percent of the scoring a year ago. Point guard Jarryd Loyd is the only returning starter.
Did you know? This is Valpo's final year in the Mid-Con. It becomes the Horizon League's 10th team next season.
