At Thibodaux, the Lady Colonels took the lead at the 19:19 mark of the first half, and never looked back as Nicholls had five players in double-figures in its victory over the Ladies.

Christie Bryant led Nicholls with 18 points and eight rebounds.

Centenary (2-9) had three players score 10-plus points in loss with former Loyola standout Ashley Jackson leading the way with 13.

North Texas 76, Centenary 54

At Denton, Texas, Dez Willingham scored 14 points and the Mean Green remained unbeaten at home with a win over the Gents.

Willingham contributed eight points in the opening minutes as North Texas (8-2) jumped out to a 14-4 lead. Centenary pulled to within five points, but the Mean Green broke away with a 24-6 run.

North Texas led 47-24 at halftime and never trailed in the game.

Keith Wooden scored 12 points, going 4-for-5 from the field. Tristan Thompson and Dennis Collin each added 10 points. Quincy Williams led the Mean Green with nine rebounds.

Justin Glenn came off the bench to lead Centenary with 11 points, and former BTW standout Tyrone Hamilton added 10.

North Texas shot 48 percent from the field to Centenary's 38 percent.

North Texas outrebounded the Gents 41-30.
