INDIANAPOLIS -- Lance Stemler had career highs of 21 points and nine rebounds to lead Indiana over IUPUI.

The Hoosiers (8-3) held the Jaguars scoreless for nearly four minutes to open the game as IUPUI (5-6) missed seven of its first eight field goal attempts.

CHARLESTON, Ill. -- Romain Martin scored 20 points and Mike Robinson added 17 points along with 10 rebounds as Eastern Illinois topped Western Illinois.

Martin and Robinson combined for seven 3-pointers for Eastern Illinois (5-8), accounting for all the Panthers' success from behind the arc. Robinson also went 6-for-6 from the free throw line.

Western Illinois (4-7) was led by 20 points from David Jackson, who was the team's only player to score more than eight points. The Leathernecks -- behind 34-25 at halftime -- were dismal from the field in the second half, hitting just 7-of-28 for 25 percent shooting.

Eastern Illinois had a 45-26 rebounding advantage for the game and finished at 50 percent shooting compared with a 33.3 percent overall performance by Western.
