EDINGBURG, Texas - David Jackson scored a game-high 22 points, including the go-ahead jumper with 1:26 remaining, as Western Illinois came from behind to beat Texas-Pan American 71-69.
Brian Burrell's jumper with three minutes left gave Texas-Pan American a 64-59 lead, but Jackson scored eight points to lead a 10-0 run by Western Illinois (3-5) over the next two minutes.
Josh Rivers came off the bench to score 15 points for WIU, while David DuBois led the team with nine rebounds.
Dexter Shankle led Texas-Pan American (5-4) with 17 points, while Zach Trader added 15 and Burrell had 11. Burrell led the team with eight rebounds.
Pan American led 37-30 at halftime.
